From Humble Beginnings

In 1957 Dave Grattan founded the Dave Grattan Company, as a sales representative for a New York based masonry anchor manufacturer. 1963 was the year he relocated the business from Miami, Florida to Los Angeles, California. As business grew, he began representing addional fastener manufactures broadening his product line.

By the early 1970's, with the help of Dave's sons, Dave introduced the Grattan® brand of fasteners. By this time, his company played a major roll in the fastener industry, selling and servicing hardware, lumber dealers and industrial supply houses. Today, Dave's son Jack Grattan is President of Grattan Fastening Products. His daughter and grandson also hold management positions within the corporation.

While the fastener industry has changed considerably over the years, Grattan®'s commitment and dedication to their customers and efficient methods of operation has remained as strong as ever. With millions in on-hand inventory and over 200 vendors around the world, Grattan® has become a brand leader in fastener distribution.
